Brisbane 26th November 1860
Sir/
We, the undersigned, Freeholders and
Residents at Bulimba would desire to
bring under your notice the great want
of a road to the north bank of the River Brisbane,
opposite that part of Bulimba, known as
Buckley's Ferry. At present we are
under the necessity of going through private
ground, on crossing the River to get to Brisbane
We beg therefore most respectfully
to request that you will cause a road to be
proclaimed in such a direction as you
shall be advised will be most beneficial
to the public and with the least injury to
private individuals.
