out that although the area of
available land near Killarney
is not so great as in the
locality recommended in my
first report of the 12th Ultimo
yet it appears quite adequate
to meet the requirements of
the Agricultural Reserve for
the present, and it is not
I conceive necessary that
future extensions should
be actually contiguous.
The distance of the
proposed reserve is from 15
to 20 Miles from the town
of Warwick, but the reported
superiority of both the soil
and climate at Killarney,
which is close to the main
Range, over the more level
lowlands near the town,
appear to especially adapt
it for the purposes of
agriculture, and this combined
with the ample water power,
for both flour and saw mills
