In retransmitting to you the accompanying
papers relative to the conflicting claims of Messrs Bell and
Blyth to country simultaneously known as "Watnall" and
"Lower Cobblegum" I am instructed to inform you that His
Excellency and Executive Council coincide with the Executive
council of N S Wales in the view of the case taken by them
and that they have in consequence directed that a refund
of all payments should be made to Mr. Blyth or his agents by
the Treasury of Queensland, and that Messrs Bell shall be
confirmed in possession of the Run as "Lower Cobblegum"
