to enquire whether a refund is
to be made of the whole of the
moneys paid to the New South
Wales Treasury as it does not
appear that any sums could
have been received into the
Queensland Treasury, as that
Department was apprised upon
the 9th June last that the run
known as 'Wotnall' was cancelled
and was accordingly to be
written off from the Register
of that office

The Ch. Commr. is in error, for,
on the 28th September 1860, the sum of
£22 was paid into the Queensland Treasury
by R. Towns & Co. on a/c [account] J. A. Blyth. [AWM's handwriting]
