Dear Mr Tozer
Father asks me to write you
relative to a tell-tale clock that
was among the things taken out of
the Polynesian Hospital to Brisbane
some time ago.
He thinks it will be found
amongst your stores in Brisbane and
if so wishes to know if you will sell
it and what price.
We have suspicions that
our watchman sleeps during the
night and this is the best means we
know of to prove it.
