man named Charles Arbuthnot
Bruce brought seven Mainland
Natives to my office to undergo
the usual examination and
inspection before being alllowed
to ship – The names of the
men were Mogur, Aleck alias
Jimody, Coco, Meffa, Harry,
Cockroach, all from the vicinity
of Bertiehaugh, Ducie River
and Sandy alias Alproom from
the Seven Rivers District or
more correctly from the left
Bank of the Ducie River.
