In June last you inquired as to the meaning of the
aboriginal word " currumbin " .
I learn this now means " High up " because of there
being extremely tall trees and hills in the vicinity of
the water course now known as [Currumbin Creek].
I regret that the papers containing this information
were inadvertently filed away without your having been
informed.
