of the said Justices was excessive and that the justice of the
case would have been met by the imposition of a fine
Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray
That the said John Wiederkehr may be
discharged from Gaol
That in the alternative that Your Excellency
will be pleased to extend mercy to the said
John Wiederkehr upon the said John Wiederkehr
entering into a Recognizance conditioned as prescribed
in the thrid section of The Offenders Probation Act
of 1886
