21 Feb 1889 Sir I have the honor to inform you that after fair trial I do not consi- der Mr Genge fitted for the post of Tailor Instructor here_ I have nothing to say against his conduct or willingness, he has tried his best but is not suited for the position, not having the necessary force of character to deal with and control fifty to sixty prisoners nor the business tack or knowledge, necessary to manage such an importanr branch of the Establishment.
