of the Medical Board, but I write
to you as a brother practitioner
only, & as one with whom I am in
a certain sense, acquainted with.
Our Senior Constable (Davis) here
is a decent fellow as a private
individual. But as head of the
Police here has a morbid fear of
entailing any expense on the Government,
even where, as at present, one would
imagine in the interests of justice
fees for a Medical Witness should
not be grudged.
I hope you will pardon me
troubling you at such length & will
give me any help you can for which
I shall be very grateful.
With the Seasons Greetings
Believe me
Yours faithfully
Alfred Sutton
