"police reserve" should be

and consequently made no opposition
to the change -
Learning differently now,
I condemn the absurdity
of the proposed
alteration—and should
my present application meet
with your Consideration,
will take immediate Steps
to prevent the indiscriminate
cutting of timber on the
reserve, that for some
considerable time has been
going on by contractors
for fencing here -
