MEMORANDUM:
To The Under Colonial Secretary
Sec for Lands declines to reproclaim land for Police paddock McIvor River
Referring to the letter of the Commissioner of Police to the Honorable the Colonial Secretary, dated 22nd ult. and forwarded B.C. to this Department on the 24th idem, the Under Colonial Secretary is advised that the Secretary for Public Lands declines to accede to the request made therein, that the cancelled police reserve on the McIvor River may be reproclaimed for paddocking purposes, as the land is said to be some of the best agricultural land in the district.
