THIS ITEM IS TOP-NUMBERED TO 6927/1895 Benches F. W. Robinson [Stamp] COLONIAL SECRETARY'S OFFICE QUEENSLNAD 10209 22 NOV 89 Applying for an increased allowance for Blacks I have had the Blacks in since the 6th June and have received £25 which pays me to the end of September. I don't know what the Government considers is a fair amount of Beef for a Blackfellow to eat in a week or a day. I have suffered more from the Blacks in the way of having cattle speared than anyone else in the district, and informed the Land Board in Townsville of it, but they increased the Rent a 1/-- a mile above the Commissioner's valuation. The Blacks have not troubled me since I let them in on Evelyn. But there are some down towards Cashmere that are troublesome there but I have no food to encourage them to come in. Hoping you will be able to give me some assistance I have the honor to be Sir Yours Obediently Fred. W. Robinson
