Re telegram from Mr G. Robinson of
Woorooroo [sic] Station reporting the Killing
of his cattle by the Blacks:----
Sir
I have the honor to report for your
information that as Cadet Affleck
was the last officer who made a
patrol of Mr Robinson's run I
called upon him to supply as far as
he was able the information
asked for by you.
By Mr Affleck's Statement - which
I attach - it appears that Mr
Robinson does nothing himself
towards protecting his run.
and that the only assistance he
has in looking after a mob of
1500 cattle is one black boy a
native of Dungeness.
It also appears that Mr Robinson
does not interfere with the
Blacks for he does not allow
them to camp near the head
Station nor are any of them
employed or used in any way
by either himself or any of
the Stations hands.
