I have sent By (Wairill
McMaster (Master) 4 Blackboys & 2 gins,
which I picked up of [sic] the wreck of the Cutter Ruby
of Cooktown, as she lay sunk on reef Inner Barrier
31st Oct. The gins reports [sic] that Robinson his mate
and one Boy named Dick were murdered on Barrier
by thoses boys that I have rescued.
