Certificate of Particulars [Police stamp dated 20 Mar.88] I HEREBY certify that on the 23rd day of January 1888 & first day of February 1888, I held an Inquest of Death at Maytown in the Police District of Palmer and that the following particulars were then disclosed:- Name of deceased: Alfred Wright Profession or calling: Stockman Height, colour of hair, peculiar clothing and any other means of identity: Fully identified Where found and when: Strathleven Station 10th Jany[sic] 1888 Supposed cause of death: Speared by the blacks Accused: None Names, residences, and callings of witnesses: John Carrigan Strathleven Stockman; Joseph Kelvin McMaugh, Superintendent Strathleven Station Suspicious circumstances: Nil [signed] T.C.
