The Chief Protector of Aboriginals
[South Brisbane].
Sir,
I beg to report in reference to the attached letter
from the Under Secretary I have made inquiries from all the
old Aboriginals here but none of them knew of any Aborigin-
names about the District. I have also interviewed Station
owners and old residents of the District and they informed
me that they never knew of any places about Ayr having Ab-
original names.
